This year, the Orleans County Conservation District’s Annual Plant Sale can help you transform wet areas into blooming beauty. Planting on your property can provide many benefits: tasty snacks for you and your family, add beauty to your land (even in the wetter spots), provide shade, help with erosion control on lake shores and riverbanks, provide habitat for wildlife, and so much more!New for 2025 is the addition of wet-loving plants, including willows, elderberry, swamp oak, winterberry, dogwood, buttonbush, arrowwood, turtlehead, marsh marigold, river birch and cedar, as well as rain garden wildflower starts from FFA students. Order deadline is Monday, April 7, and pickup day is Saturday, May 3.
