Lowell VT Real Estate for Sale
Lowell Vermont is the westernmost town in Orleans County, located in the beautiful and scenic Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, an area that National Geographic selected as part of their geotourism program for sustainable destinations. Lowell was chartered in 1787 by Governor Thomas Chittenden to John Kelley in 1787, for whom it was named Kellyvale. The name was changed to Lowell in 1831, but the origin of the name is unknown.
