Brief History: Burke, VT was chartered in 1782 and it is thought to be named after Edmund Burke who was a British statesman and orator.

Burke Mountain is also home to Burke Mountain Academy, which is a renowned ski academy. They have schooled 45 students that became Olympians.
Kingdom Trails is a network of mountain bike trails also located in East Burke. Bike Magazine rated it the Best Trail Network in North America. If you enjoy mountain biking you will appreciate the system whether you are an advanced or novice biker.
Burke is located in Caledonia County and close to Lyndonville and I-91. It is also close to Lake Willoughby to the North.
