Newport’s Fall Festival includes a photo contest, scarecrow contest, farmers’ market, quilt show, and a Chilifest. The festival will be held on September 23, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in downtown Newport.
In Caledonia County the following weekend, the past will be brought to life during the Festival of Traditional Crafts. Exhibits and demonstrations include candle making, quilting, spring pole lathe, and a Civil War traveling forge. Festival goers will even have an opportunity for some hands-on experiences
