When she’s not searching for the perfect home for a client, broker Marcy Lindstedt likes to play in her greenhouse and garden. As a force behind the Barton Community Garden, she hopes to spread the joy of gardening with others. The goal of the Barton Community Garden is to create a place “where food is grown for our community, where people come together to visit and celebrate, and where experienced, new and hopeful gardeners share knowledge and resources to grow and preserve food for themselves and others.” For now, the Barton Community Garden has taken its mission online, encouraging people to share in online gardening activities. You can connect to the group through its Facebook page or send an email.
