Larry Golden grew up in Lyndonville and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy before spending 24 years in New York City, where he managed high-end residential construction projects valued at up to $40 million. Along the way, he also operated live music venues and nightclubs, including a legendary venue of his own.

Several years ago, Larry returned home to the Northeast Kingdom to raise his family and quickly became involved in the community again. Today, he serves on the local school board and coaches the boys' varsity hockey team at St. Johnsbury Academy.

Larry brings an extensive construction background to real estate. A longtime carpenter and contractor, his company handles renovation projects throughout the region, giving him a practical understanding of homes that few agents can offer. He knows what it takes to gut a 200-year-old Vermont farmhouse down to the studs because he did exactly that with his own.

Most importantly, Larry knows the Northeast Kingdom. He knows the towns, the back roads, the homes, and the people who make this area special. At the same time, after spending nearly half his life in New York City, he understands the perspective of buyers relocating to Vermont or searching for a second home here.
