Holland Pond – Located in the town of Holland, this 300-plus-acre pond is approximately 39 feet at its deepest point. As part of the 9,040-acre Bill Sladyk Wildlife Management area, 10,000 feet of undeveloped shoreline at its southern end is protected from future development. While on the pond, you may hear the song of Spring Peepers or the calls of a pair of Common Loons that nest here. Mallards, Black Ducks, Wood Ducks, Common and Hooded Mergansers, as well as Painted and Snapping Turtles call Holland Pond home. Open to fishing mid-April through October. Species include White and Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, as well as Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout.
