Hardwick Lake - Hardwick Lake is a manmade lake that started with the construction of the Jackson Dam in 1912 and was planned to be one of many in the area to supply the town of Hardwick with hydroelectric power. However, it became a recreation spot, and the original dam was destroyed by a flood in 1927. A gravel ramp gives boaters access to the 145-acre lake that is home to Bullhead, Chain Pickerel, Panfish, and Yellow Perch.
